Question: Comment Voting Error
Answer: provided by Solis 380 days ago
- 2 + Same computer ≠ IP address. I regularly use a public wifi through a VPN which assigns a new IP address for each session. Even if vote tracking is done by cookie, I get errors when trying to vote on comments/articles that I know I have not previously voted on, so it is obviously a bug.

Question: How to resize sidebar
Answer: provided by Solis 380 days ago
- 2 + Not so easy. The CSS file for the Bootstrap template layout seems to not be hosted locally, rather served by the Bootstrap CDN at: http://netdna.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.0.2/css/bootstrap.min.css. This file is not editable from the Admin panel, not is it located in the Pligg install directory anywhere. I suspect that if one wanted to modify the template style, the php files that point to the CDN for styles would need to be edited to point to a localized and modified copy of that CSS file, and I'm not entirely sure how that is done using the Smarty Template Lite. I am not even sure if the Wiki guide "How To Design A Pligg Template" (http://pligg.com/blog/707/how-to-design-a-pligg-template/) still applies to version 2.xxx. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Question: Pligg tutorials
Answer: provided by Solis 380 days ago
- 2 + Muculak,

Tutorials do not exist, and the wiki on sourceforge is empty save for a few screenshots. Even Chuckroast replied in this thread without providing an answer to this or agenudibolaskkabet's question, which doesn't bode well for this community. As far as I can tell, there is really nothing beyond the installation instructions and the defunct forum, where many support requests had been ignored.

I'm really hoping the developers start offering some halfway decent support with the Pligg core, especially since premium modules cost $$$.

If I start seeing some support in this new forum, I will do my best to learn as much PHP as possible and contribute to the project in the form of documentation, support, and donating templates.

Let's hope this thing picks up. Pligg really does have excellent potential, but for those of us who are not seasoned PHP devs, we are left frustrated and lost.

- 2 + I know this comment is old, but I am wondering what bug, and how did the user downvote twice?!?! I cannot even vote on a comment once because I receive the error "you have already voted on this article", even though I haven't.
