Search Results for "security"
Mainly from a security angle, I think it would be beneficial for everyone running a Pligg installation, for them to have control over the url for the admin login.

The default 'mysite.com/admin' url is too predictable and standardised, and is one of the first url combinations that would be attempted if a script or hacker were trying to brute force himself/herself/itself into your backend.

We'll ignore the idea of just using stronger passwords for the 'God' login for now. I would be very keen to hear if anyone has any method at all, that would allow Pligg owners to change the current '/admin' url to something else of their choice. This would add a level of security on in it's own right.

Thanks in advance.

JB.
Hello all,
I would like to know if there is a module on Pligg to enable a "2 step authentication", in google and facebook style.

To authenticate on a new device the user has to input a code received via SMS and then he can choose if next time he wants to repeat the process or save the device and long with his account.

Thank you
Hello,
I would like to know if there is a module for mobile number verification.
The verification I would need is simply a code sent to the user mobile that must to be entered in the site to complete the verification process.

Thank you.
I have been giving the moderators some extra access and taking some away, but I cant see where to add access to the Submissions page - can anyone advise where to do this please?
