I'm still trying to find a way to simply have two dropdown categories that I can have for submission. Seems like it'd be such a common thing to have since I've seen topics since 2006 asking how, but never got a clear answer.

For example.. I'm in submission and I use the first category dropdown (e.g. Choose your Area, I choose Southwest) now I need a second category dropdown (that I also can modify like the Categories section in admin) that has options like BMW, Audi, GM and so on..

To clarify again, I need another category dropdown on top of using the included.
How can I make category selection not required to submit a story? and if the user only used tags and dont select a category, will related links work? thnks!
Greetings!

I'd like to make the category menu highlight the category selected just like Popular and New highlight when selected. I've been poking around the style sheet and I can't seem to find it. I'm using bootstrap.
I'd like to remove the requirement to assign a category with a submission. I can't find the validation which is checking for this. Simply removing the field doesn't work.
Anyone else have issues with category order. The order in of the categories in the admin panel are not the same as they appear on the main page. Any help? Thanks
A random subset of the categories I've created get the error_404.php when I click the category link at the top of the page. This is only happening with some categories, others are working normally. Any help? Thx!
Hi,
I want to know if it's possible to show larger thumbnails on one page than another, this is so links under picture category can be seen better.

I just need the code that controls the thumbnail size created by the upload module.
Thanks
Hello,

I was thinking in implement a module or modify the code to implement a second layer of categories. I mean, right now you can select a category, or if you select the multiple categories option, you can select multiple of them.
But what i would like is to have a category layer for geografical places (cities) and a second one for topics. So, do you think there is a way to do it? Any tips about the things to modify?

Thank you
Is there any possible way when you select a main category to make the subcategories appear in a new tab or something like that ?

EX : when you select a main category in submit step 2 "Category" the subcategories to appear under it ?
-Main category Reviews and under it to appear the list of platforms ?
Whenever I try to edit a post in this support forum it gives me the error "No Category Selected".

I also strongly feel like we should have the ability to delete our own posts when we make mistakes. Or at least submit a ticket for deletion.

Thanks,

Ivan
