Pligg Support

Dear Pliggers, I just faced a very strange problem. After I click submit button and leave (discontinue) the submission process in the middle the story gets published in 'NEW' automatically with zero vote, and with blank title. If I continue the submission process then it works fine. Whenever I discontinue the submission process before hitting the final submit button I face this problem. Is this a bug with the latest Pigg 2.1? I Have tried disabling all the modules. Is there anything that I can edit in submit.php? I guess incomplete stories with improper submission should go directly to 'Discard', instead of going to 'New'. Would be really grateful if someone can help me out. Thanks.

Possible Answers

I freshly reinstalled the latest Pligg again in different domain but faced the same problem. If I don't complete the submission process and leave in the middle, the story gets published in 'New' without title and with zero vote. And all these incomplete stories come in 'all' category, which doesn't even exist in my Category admin panel. This is really strange. After searching a lot I have a feeling that this has to do with 'Negative/Discard' voting system. I would be really happy if someone can shot me some ideas. With your little help I think I can fix it. Thanks.

Submitting an Answer

If you have an answer or useful response that you would like to add to a post, you can submit it as a comment which other users will then vote on. Answers are sorted by most popular to least, allowing the best information to climb to the top of the page.

Please read and vote for existing answers before submitting your own, as there may already be an acceptable answer provided. You can use the "Reply" link found within an answer to submit a response to it, in case you want to expand or comment on someone else's contribution.

Including Files or Code

Sometimes it is necessary for you to attach a file or include a snippet of code for others to reference in your response. In most cases, you can .zip up files and attach them to a question or answer using Pligg's file manager. At times though this may fail, and in these circumstances we recommend using a third party host. Below we are including a list of recommended websites where you can share easily share file uploads (or snippets of code) through the web.
