You can remove the url submission step 1 by going to admin > settings > submit> require url set to false, and show url input set to false.
Sorry if I was unclear. I don't want users to upload their own embeded videos. I want users to ONLY be able to embed URL's with video on them. An example...I would only like for them to be able to submit something like a youtube video, not their own video, and not a static url like pligg.com.
That's a big request! You could maybe block any sites that don't have videos normally or only allow sites that should have videos but I think this calls for manual checking/moderation. You, as moderator, would down vote any link you don't like or discard that URL.
I'm sure you could write a bunch of code to do this for you but it would take a bunch of time and probably nor give you the results you expect at that!!
There's no substitute for being active in your own website.
Yes you can through the upload module settings. You can just remove the allowable files type of what kind of media you don't want to allow them to submit.
Thanks for the response Chuck.
That will work for certain file types, but that doesn't prevent someone from submitting a static website/webpage. I want to make it so that they can ONLY submit embedded videos. Is this possible?
“It 's working...thanks...”
“In out.php, find:
header('Location: '. $link->url);
then replace with:
“Wow! So can they crane your house out? You got somewhere to stay now?
I have no money at the moment...”
“BTW this Is Screenshot of My Upload Module I downloaded and installed In Pligg,as it didnot come...”
“Yes ,I use Pligg Officia Upload Module...I didnt make any changes in thtmes,but thumbnail show up...”
