Pligg Support

Hello, I would like to ask you if there is any way to associate more than one group per story, Right now, it is posible to associate stories with one group, but sometimes it is not enough, when they are related to more than a group. If does not exist any module, i would like to do it. Would be needed to modify the core and the database?

Possible Answers

It's possible by joining multiple groups.

Submit the story to one group. After that, you can share stories to groups you have joined.

So, then, only would be needed to Edit the submit code to allow from the beggining to submit to different groups?

If you mean submitting to multiple groups during submission, it's not possible without modifying the Pligg code.

Yes, exactly, but if the core and the database allows to share a story with different groups, i think it would not be very hard to modify the submit code to share stories from the beggining with different groups. Isn't it?

Please read and vote for existing answers before submitting your own, as there may already be an acceptable answer provided. You can use the "Reply" link found within an answer to submit a response to it, in case you want to expand or comment on someone else's contribution.

Including Files or Code

Sometimes it is necessary for you to attach a file or include a snippet of code for others to reference in your response. In most cases, you can .zip up files and attach them to a question or answer using Pligg's file manager. At times though this may fail, and in these circumstances we recommend using a third party host. Below we are including a list of recommended websites where you can share easily share file uploads (or snippets of code) through the web.
