Great, thanks for your follow up! :-) If you can take a look at my other posts, there are quite few things to also add to github. redwine Solution fro the sidebar saved stories to display only those belonging to the logged-in user 82 days
What ^Chuckroast said. Github pull requests are the most efficient way for us to import code changes into the project. If you aren't proficient with Git, then feel free to link to pastebin.com for code examples or provide .zip folders containing any changed files which we can review. I finally got around to adding this to Github. I made some slight adjustments to your code, the most notable being a variable name change from $user_logged_id to just $user_id. https://github.com/Pligg/pligg-cms/commit/17fb083ce61356dd506dec8ad359eafe2d2dc759 Yankidank Solution fro the sidebar saved stories to display only those belonging to the logged-in user 82 days
Here are the snapshots showing the proper RTL for text and buttons. If you have checked my second post I sent you this morning and applied it you would get the desired results. However, the fixes are not for all the site. you have to fix what you want based on the concept I provided and add the css rules in the style_arabic.css so that you keep the original css intact and no need to change back anything. http://discretefeed.com/test/rtl-buttons.html redwine Fixes to apply to any Right-To-Left language, Arabic and possible other languages. 88 days
Have you also checked this: http://pligg.com/support/question/fixes-to-the-search-box-right-to-left-rtl/#question It is a fix for the input field and the buttons. redwine Fixes to apply to any Right-To-Left language, Arabic and possible other languages. 88 days

Could you provide a link to your site so that I take a look and see what is not right? I will post a snapshot of my site (development) tomorrow and it looks all RTL properly. redwine Fixes to apply to any Right-To-Left language, Arabic and possible other languages. 89 days

White page where and what is the page? Please also provide the Pligg version you are using. I did not include any new or modified files except the lang_arabic.conf. The steps are in the attachment in "pligg-fixes.html". Unzip the attached folder and follow the steps and make sure not to override anything. When you open the pligg-fixes.html the first thing you will see is: Please, MAKE SURE TO COPY EVERY FILE TO A BACKUP FOLDER BEFORE YOU MAKE ANY CHANGES TO IT. ALSO, MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW ALL THE STEPS CAREFULLY TO END UP WITH THE EXPECTED RESULTS! redwine Fixes to apply to any Right-To-Left language, Arabic and possible other languages. 89 days

Pligg uses Github as a repository. You can create account and submit a pull request with your changes. https://github.com/pligg ChuckRoast Repository for contributions and fixes 131 days
Yes, I have those modules and have been working with it as time allows. BTW: what is the Pligg 'Salt Length'. I thought I had it right once but the login fails on the Pligg side. jhawkin Anybody else besides me (and this site) running Pligg and WordPress together? 137 days

I suggest that you place code snippets on http://pastebin.com/ and then include a link to it within your comment. Similarly, you may need to depend on other third party services to host files if you are unable to attach them using the provided tools on Pligg.com. UPDATE: I've now added a new "Help" tab to the story page, which gives users directions on how they can use the Support area. It also includes a list of suggested file/snippet hosts that can be used as alternatives. Yankidank Do you think we should switch back to the old forums? 137 days
Well this one is nicer but less effective when it comes to posting a question or answer with html code. The old one was simple to use with all the features to post code and html. I felt so embarrassed and frustrated when I was trying to post an answer this morning. It took me an hour with no success to explain the steps that include html. I ended up posting the answer on my server and provided a link. Maybe a pinned post about how to use Html and what is allowed would be of great help. That is the difference between the two forums. redwine Do you think we should switch back to the old forums? 138 days
Have I previously shared with you the custom Wordpress and Pligg CMS plugins that we developed to handle logins between WP and Pligg on pligg.com? I know that I provided that code to someone a few weeks ago when chatting in the IRC chat room. Our setup has Wordpress handle all of the user account data, and Pligg CMS references it for logins. Yankidank Anybody else besides me (and this site) running Pligg and WordPress together? 138 days
There were a number of (mostly technical) reasons why I chose to retire the vBulletin forum, but what I consider to be the most important reason for switching to the current /support area is so that we can showcase Pligg CMS on our website. Pligg is a versatile system that can be utilized in a variety of ways, from social networks to community support desks like /support. The demo (http://demo.pligg.com) gives users a look at what Pligg looks like out of the box, but /support represents what can be done with a little tinkering and creative thinking. Perhaps a solution to some of the complaints would be to elect a few community moderators who would have the ability to change the status of posts. I haven't been able to moderate content much myself due to other work obligations (outside of Pligg). If anyone is interested in taking up this sort of position, please leave a reply to this comment and I'll review your posting activity to see if you would be a good fit. If anyone has any other suggestions on how we might be able to improve the current system, I'm all ears. Yankidank Do you think we should switch back to the old forums? 138 days
For Top Users page (members list), open topusers_data.tpl and at the very top, add: {php} global $main_smarty, $user; $main_smarty->assign('userLevel', $user->level); {/php} On the same file, add the code below where you want the badge to appear: {if $userLevel "verified"}SPECIAL BADGE HERE{/if} OxyThemes Adding a badge or icon for mods or special accounts 138 days
if you haven't done it yet, here is the solution: [link] http://discretefeed.com/test/add-badge-to-verified-users.html [/link] I posted it on my server. I'm sorry I'm having trouble uploading a zip file and it seems I'm not familiar with how to show html code in the answer here! Any help? redwine Adding a badge or icon for mods or special accounts 138 days
Bingo OxyThemes! I was able to use that code in link_summary.tpl and have it display next to the username, which is exactly what I wanted now how can I have it display everywhere that user may appear? Essentially I only need it to display at the bottom of the story, in that specific users profile page, and next to the verified users names in search results. I tried the code about in user_naviagtion.tpl but it wasnt wokring. Any ideas? Thanks! rafalny Adding a badge or icon for mods or special accounts 142 days
