I hope they remove this email validation thing. It's going to put my users right off. Oxplode Weird Captcha Notice when trying to post here! 42 minutes
Could you provide a link to your site so that I take a look and see what is not right? I will post a snapshot of my site (development) tomorrow and it looks all RTL properly. redwine Fixes to apply to any Right-To-Left language, Arabic and possible other languages. 7 hours

White page where and what is the page? Please also provide the Pligg version you are using. I did not include any new or modified files except the lang_arabic.conf. The steps are in the attachment in "pligg-fixes.html". Unzip the attached folder and follow the steps and make sure not to override anything. When you open the pligg-fixes.html the first thing you will see is: Please, MAKE SURE TO COPY EVERY FILE TO A BACKUP FOLDER BEFORE YOU MAKE ANY CHANGES TO IT. ALSO, MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW ALL THE STEPS CAREFULLY TO END UP WITH THE EXPECTED RESULTS! redwine Fixes to apply to any Right-To-Left language, Arabic and possible other languages. 14 hours
I sent an email to a representative from Solvemedia and here was their response: "Our security ratchets up dynamically based on several factors that might flag a user as a bot. This can be unusual IP activity (historical or current) and/or it can be aberrant user activity such as refreshing or failing puzzles and so on - there are several different things that are monitored to identify automated systems from humans and it is designed to do this so we can serve nice easy puzzles to known humans and increasingly difficult puzzles to bad actors. So our images become increasingly distorted and difficult to read - which is desirable if the user is a bot - however a real human user can get caught in this trap when we see a "false positive" for bot activity. It can/will become impossible for them to proceed and continued refreshing will only make it worse. For this reason we have instituted a 2-step authorization process so that the user can validate with us through an alternative means and avoid this frustration. Once they have authorized with us this way they will remain on our nice list for a period of time (network wide) just as if they had solved the puzzle correctly. In short - It's designed so that humans have an alternative way to verify with us should they need it." So it sounds like they are now offering an opt-in whitelist for those who may for whatever reason be acting in a suspicious manner (ex. a large number of page reloads, several incorrect captcha answers, excessive number of captcha requests, etc.). You can now register yourself (presumably via email) to un-block yourself from their network filter. If you are seeing these warning messages in the SolveMedia captchas you may want to consider doing that to avoid getting blocked. Yankidank Weird Captcha Notice when trying to post here! 15 hours
Hello there, Thanks for this big Job, I do it correctly but after that white page appear ! could you please provide the all file ? Thanks in advance user_695970 Fixes to apply to any Right-To-Left language, Arabic and possible other languages. 15 hours
I just got the same thing replying to your post. Very weird indeed. I took a screenshot of it and sent it to Yankidank. There was another problem with Solve Media about a month ago where it made me go through an entire 5 minute video before putting up the solve key. It happened multiple times. Yank contacted Solve Media about and I believe they removed it from their service. http://i.imgur.com/RQXjxna.png ChuckRoast Weird Captcha Notice when trying to post here! 16 hours

I really wish I could do more. No matter what I say, it would not do you justice for what you are going through. I feel sad and disgusted by the powerful, who uses the loopholes in the system to take advantage of the normal citizens who have no resources to fight for their rights! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and may God gives you all the help you need! redwine Out of commission for a while 34 days
RedWine - Thank you so much for your contribution. Things have been extremely unpleasant throughout this whole process. I'm now being sued by the company that caused this disaster because they feel the process isn't moving along fast enough for their liking. Yep, you read that right. They are actually trying to take me, the victim, to court over this. It's a huge mess. Each day I have to waist my time talking with lawyers, the insurance company, and a structural engineering firm. The insurance is dragging their feet and is trying to do anything they can to find an expert that will testify that something else caused the home to collapse. It's a total nightmare. Thanks again ChuckRoast Out of commission for a while 34 days
ChuckRoast, Sorry to hear about your ordeal. I hope you recover from it very soon. Please check if you have received anything, as when I finished the process, I was redirected to a 404 Pligg page from paypal. God Bless! redwine Out of commission for a while 35 days
Yes, OxyThemes, I think Pligg changes the extension but the format seems to still be the original gif format. I noticed that sometime back when building my first couple Pligg sites. And JPG isn't animated so it has to be a gif. jhawkin Animated GIFs/Avatars 47 days
I was wrong indeed. The original image size is also uploaded but is also converted to USERID_original.jpg. I thought it's still in GIF because I have tried uploading and it's playing when viewed. So I think it's only the extension changed but still it animates. Use the code: {$Avatar.original} to show the animated GIF. I believe what Oxy is inferring is to change the code in your template where each avatar shows up from the ones that pligg generates when a user uploads the image, to the original which is also placed in the same folder. ChuckRoast Animated GIFs/Avatars 48 days
I suggest that you place code snippets on http://pastebin.com/ and then include a link to it within your comment. Similarly, you may need to depend on other third party services to host files if you are unable to attach them using the provided tools on Pligg.com. UPDATE: I've now added a new "Help" tab to the story page, which gives users directions on how they can use the Support area. It also includes a list of suggested file/snippet hosts that can be used as alternatives. Yankidank Do you think we should switch back to the old forums? 48 days

Well this one is nicer but less effective when it comes to posting a question or answer with html code. The old one was simple to use with all the features to post code and html. I felt so embarrassed and frustrated when I was trying to post an answer this morning. It took me an hour with no success to explain the steps that include html. I ended up posting the answer on my server and provided a link. Maybe a pinned post about how to use Html and what is allowed would be of great help. That is the difference between the two forums. redwine Do you think we should switch back to the old forums? 49 days
