We need an experienced developer/designer with previous experience in Pligg CMS, PHP and MySQL to create new Pligg site.

The following will be needed:

-Clean web 2.0 design
-User commenting system with ratings
-Link rating system with formula that can be changed
-user management system (add users, delete users, delete comments)
-content filtering system (filter swear words or adult websites)
~~link submission system~~ user can submit by clicking on a bookmark, similar to digg and reddit submission system.
-create template identical to already designed site.

We are looking exclusively fluent english speaking freelancers or companies to support us.

I have setup an extra field (core files) in profile to allow a reciprocal link. (This all works fine.)
I need to have a function check $user_reciprocal. (Which I have : http://www.opencrypt.com/blog.php?a=28)
Provide a check/submit button next to form field. So user can update.
( Guess I’ll need another user field in DB, value “1” or “0” to see if user has or has not been banned.)
I need a admin link to manually re-check backlinks and/or check with cron.

I have also added to Db table pligg_link, Link_status, Type enum(linkfailp and linkfailp) this removes the links from main page.
Links can be searched, however. ( Not worried about this so much unless its an easy fix)
I’ve edited the admin_user.php and user_view_links_center.tpl where I can change the enum type manually.
This all works ok, manually.

What I need is a function to :
When Users Reciprocal link fails :
get all the users published links and change the enum to linkfailp.
get all the users queued links and change the enum to linkfailq.
phpmail() user. ( not really required, I can probably figure this one out )

When Users Reciprocal link is reinstated then return to normal. linkfailp to published, linkfailq to queued.
show image if pass or fail in profile. ( currently have online/offline )
I basically have everything setup, just need to connect the dots and make automatic..

I recently transfer my pligg site to a new server. However, in the process I seem to have caused some errors on my site. I think that fixing the errors should be pretty easy for someone with experience with pligg. Here are some examples of errors with the site:

- Users can’t vote for stories – When I try to got to the User Management page from the god admin, I get the following errors: Warning: Unexpected character in input: ‘’‘ (ASCII=39) state=1 in /home/content/a/z/a/aaroni/html/admin_users.php on line 282
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting ‘]’ in /home/content/a/z/a/aaron/html/admin_users.php on line 282 – When user clicks “bury”, the admin is not notified in any way and the stories is not removed.

Please let me know if you are able to help me with these errors and how much you will charge. Also, please send me your user name in the pligg forums so that I can some of your previous posts.

- i’ll provide the CSS and templates

- i need the following mods to pligg: Top Contributors (Point System), customized tag system (for each post) based on a XML feed of tags, import RSS feeds into each custom tag (as new posts)

- change the url structure of the posts & categories to make it shorter, more seo-friendly

- use scriptaculous ajax effects to pre-populate the search box on the site (based on customized tags)

- improve security and spam protection for registration/posts (email confirm for registration and aksimet and captchas for posts)

- remove some minor features in the basic Pligg code that I don’t need

- simplify the posting process for users. allow them to assign multiple tags (from the customized tag system).

You should have experience:

- modifying the Pligg code

- building new mods

- adding features and tweaking functionality in Pligg

- an expertise working with Pligg CSS templates

- past experience implementing AJAX scripts, like scriptaculous
